Who We Are

Alexander Sharpe, co-founder of A & J Finish Co., proudly served 4 years in the U.S. Navy as a helicopter mechanic, where attention to detail and operational excellence were non-negotiable. That discipline and work ethic continue to drive everything we do.

After transitioning to civilian life, Alexander spent the past 3 years specializing in aircraft detailing, delivering consistent, high-quality results across a range of aircraft — from small pistons to corporate jets. With a strong commitment to hard work, consistency, and customer satisfaction, he brings both military precision and a client-first mindset to every job.​​

Jake McCatty, co-founder of A & J Finish Co. graduate of Oakland University, where he earned a degree in Finance. His strong work ethic and attention to detail were shaped long before college — as an Eagle Scout and former college hockey player, Jake developed a lasting commitment to discipline, leadership, and doing things the right way. He began his detailing career working on luxury yachts, where high standards and flawless finishes were expected. That foundation naturally led him into the world of aviation, where precision and presentation are just as critical. 

​​Cynthia Schroeder, also a co-founder brings over six years of experience in the aviation industry, where she specialized in finance, scheduling, and day-to-day operations. Her background has given her a deep understanding of what it takes to keep aviation services running smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule.

With a sharp eye for detail and a strong organizational mindset, Cynthia plays a key role in ensuring the operational and administrative side of A & J Finish Co. runs with precision. From coordinating service schedules to managing client accounts, she helps maintain the high standards and reliability our customers count on.

Her dedication to behind-the-scenes excellence allows the rest of the team to focus fully on delivering top-tier aircraft detailing services.
